Lower Lingual Holding Arch Lower Lingual Holding Arch
This appliance is typically used to maintain the alignment of the lower incisors following an initial phase of orthodontic treatment. It also holds space for the lower permanent teeth to erupt.

Upper Nance Arch Upper Nance Arch
This appliance is used to hold space in the upper arch by maintaining the position of the six-year molars. This is frequently used following early loss of the baby second molars.

Maxillary Expander Maxillary Expander
This appliance is most often used in growing patients that have narrow palates. It is bonded to the six-year molars and is activated by the patient. This controlled activation gradually widens the upper jaw with little discomfort.

Headgear Headgear
Growing patients with large overbites often require headgear to correct an excessive overbite. The headgear attaches to bands that are cemented on the upper six-year molars. If worn well, a significant reduction in overbite may be seen during treatment.

Archwires Archwires
These are the wires that are replaced or adjusted at each appointment during treatment. As they lay in the braces, they gradually align the teeth.
